Choose from Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki scooters, maxi scooters, and motorbikes for rent in Bali. If you need more space, comfort, or extra seats, we also offer car rental in Bali.
Yes. You’ll need a valid SIM C (Indonesia) or an International Driving Permit that covers motorcycles for the entire rental period. Please bring the physical document when you pick up the bike.
Absolutely. Rider and passenger must wear helmets at all times—this is the law in Indonesia. Any police fines for not wearing a helmet are the renter’s responsibility.
Payment timing depends on the provider and the booking setup. We confirm whether payment is due in advance, at handover, or by payment link before the rental starts. If you want to keep the booking longer, ask before the current end time so we can check availability and confirm the extension once the extra rental period is paid. Early returns are generally non-refundable, though we can check with the provider if a special case applies. Card payments may include a small processing fee.
A security deposit is not required on every booking. It depends on the provider and the unit, and if one applies we confirm the amount, hold method, and refund conditions with you before payment or handover.
The standard minimum rental period is three (3) days. Shorter bookings may be unavailable or quoted under special terms depending on the provider and the specific vehicle, so please confirm with us before booking if you need less than three days.
Insurance is not included by default. Some listings offer optional damage cover, while others do not, and the price, exclusions, liability limit, and incident process depend on the provider and the specific vehicle. If cover is available, we confirm in writing what is included, what is excluded, and whether it affects the deposit before you pay or take handover.
No, sorry. Our bikes are for paved roads only. Off-road use (beach, trails, sand, fields) is not allowed and isn’t covered by insurance.
Only the person named on the rental agreement. Lending or sub-renting is not permitted. Need to add another rider? Message us first so we can approve and update the booking.
Make sure everyone is safe, then contact us or the provider immediately with photos, location, and a short description. Do not approve repairs on your own. The provider confirms the next steps, and any charges depend on the damage review and the provider's coverage terms.
If you didn’t add optional insurance, you’ll be responsible for repair costs. When damage makes the bike unridable due to your fault, there may be a documented “downtime” charge for lost rental days until it’s fixed. All repairs must be approved by us and done at our partner workshops—please don’t authorize your own repairs (punctures and basic emergency fixes are fine, just inform us).
Punctures and tire damage are considered everyday riding risks and aren’t covered by insurance. You can fix a puncture at any tire shop; keep the receipt and let us know.
No. Our optional plans focus on accidental on-road damage and cosmetic scratches. Theft or total loss isn’t included—please be mindful where you park and always lock the bike.
No, these aren’t included in the rental. If you want liability or personal accident coverage, we recommend arranging your own travel insurance or a local policy before riding.
Only with prior written approval. Off-island travel requires extra steps (and a deposit for original documents). Insurance, if purchased, normally applies within Bali only unless we confirm otherwise.
Delivery and pickup can often be arranged, but the area, timing, meeting point, and any fee depend on the provider, the unit, and the route for that day. We confirm the workable handover plan with you before payment or handover.
Many providers can hand over at a hotel or villa, and some can also arrange airport delivery or pickup. It is not universal for every unit or route, so we confirm availability, timing, meeting point, and any fee before you pay or travel to the handover.
Sometimes, yes, if a provider can still confirm the unit and handover window in time. Same-day requests depend on live availability, your location, and the requested timing, so the earlier you message us the better. We confirm first, then ask you to proceed with payment.
Please return it personally, clean and in the same condition as received. If you can’t meet in person, a handling fee may apply (up to US$50). At pickup we note any existing scratches/dents—this protects you from end-of-rental charges for pre-existing marks.
No stress—tell us immediately. Keys are replaced at cost (varies by model and immobilizer). Lost registration/original documents have a fixed replacement fee and may take time to reissue.
If you cancel before the rental starts, a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total booking value may apply. After handover or once the rental has started, including early returns, bookings are generally non-refundable. Short bookings, monthly hires, and provider-specific offers can carry different terms, so we confirm the exact cancellation rules with you in advance.
Message us on WhatsApp or call our hotline as soon as the incident happens. Share photos/video, location, and a brief summary. We’ll confirm what’s covered, arrange an approved workshop, and keep you updated. Claims need to be reported within 12 hours to stay eligible.
Use Pertamax (RON 92) or higher — it’s the safest, cleanest choice for our engines and gives smoother performance. Avoid low-octane fuel (e.g., Pertalite) on newer or larger bikes. Please refuel at official Pertamina stations rather than roadside bottles when possible, don’t mix different fuels or additives, and return the bike with roughly the same level it had at pickup.
I rented a brand-new NMAX scooter for a month. The price was very fair and included delivery, and the service and communication were excellent. Highly recommended.
We rented a Kawasaki Versys-X 250 and had an amazing time riding it around Bali. The bike was in great condition, the service was excellent, and they still agreed to deliver it to the airport even though our flight was delayed. We would absolutely recommend renting from them.
No issues whatsoever, the whole process was easy! Pick up and drop off were seamless. Would definitely recommend this service. Rented two mean looking bikes for 3 days and drove quite a distance, was an awesome experience.
Rented a KLX230 from Bali Bike House for 30 days and couldn't be happier. Communication was fast from the start, quick replies and super friendly. Delivery to Canggu was completely seamless, the bike was ready and waiting exactly when promised.
Nice bonus: the bike came with GPS tracking, which saved me when someone moved my bike and I had to track it down. Small thing, but really appreciated.
Overall they just made everything easy and stress-free. 10/10, will definitely be renting from them again on my next trip.
I highly recommend this rental service. My wife and I traveled around the island for 20 days. We initially rented a Suzuki Vstrom 250. The bike was practically new and in perfect condition. We planned to tie the bags to the rack, but on the second day, we realized it was inconvenient and unreliable. I contacted them with a problem, and they swapped it for a Kawasaki Versys 250 with three panniers that same day. The bike is older, but excellently serviced and in excellent condition. Everything was clear, and all questions were answered promptly. The prices are clear and match the information on the website. The office and garage are great; it's clear they love motorcycles. Thank you for helping us make our travel plan come true!
